Las Vegas Meditation Group

Following Rinpoche's initial teachings to an unexpectedly large audience in Las Vegas on calm abiding and Avalokiteshvara empowerment in early November, 2007, a small group of enthusiastic students started with their efforts in establishing a Dharma center in the city.

Regular group practice started in late December. The group meets every Saturday and Monday, 8:30 - 9:30am at a member's home in the northwest, just off the 215 near Red Rock. All are welcome.

Per Rinpoche's wishes, the group practice centers on an Avalokiteshvara recitation. It also includes personal discussions and reflections on Buddhist texts.
